Digital media is so pervasive that consumers have access to information any time and any place they want it. Digital media is an ever-growing source of entertainment, news, shopping and social interaction, and consumers are now exposed not just to what your company says about your brand, but what the media, friends, relatives, peers, etc., are saying as well.
At a high level, digital marketing refers to advertising delivered through digital channels such as search engines, websites, social media, email and mobile apps. While this term covers a wide range of marketing activities all of which are not universally agreed upon. We will focus on the most common types.
